Our Ranch also including pasture land around 320 rais (128 acres) at Danpajon and another 240 rais (96 acres) at Kaomaikeaw which is located the S.K. Semen Production Center since 2006. The semen production center operate following the international standard frozen semen processing which quality certified by Department of Livestock Development, Thailand.
Biotechnology at S.K. Pattaya Ranch
..... S.K. Pattaya Ranch is a pioneer in using cattle reproductive biotechnology of Thailand. Since 1998, we had cooperated with Dr.Rangsun Parnpai, a researcher of Research Center for Bioscience in Animal Production(RCBAP), Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University in Cattle Nuclear Transfer Program. The first cloned Brahman, “Miss SK 300/1 – Nicole” was born on April 3, 2000. Later on, the cooperation was extended to University of Technology Suranaree and several cloned Brahmans had been produced included the large batch of 7 cloned of MR SW 999/1- Toomtam, the most famous bull of our ranch and of Thailand. Since 2002, S.K. Pattaya Ranch joint the Project of Using Embryo Transfer Technology to Improve Breeding of Brahman Cattle which operated by Dr.Sunpetch Sophon, a researcher of RCBAP, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University. At present, nearly hundred progenies of elite cows and bulls of our Ranch had been produced by embryo transfer and also hundreds of frozen Brahman embryos are stored in liquid nitrogen thank.
